  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 16 corn tortillas

  • 2 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups purple cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fish: In a bowl, mix avocado oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, sea salt, ancho chili powder, and black pepper. Coat cod filets evenly with the spice mixture.
  2. Cook the Fish: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add cooking spray and cook the fish for 3-4 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  3. Make Cilantro Lime Slaw: Combine sliced cabbages, lime juice, cilantro, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl; toss well.
  4. Prepare Avocado Crema: Mash avocados with garlic and cilantro; blend in cumin, red pepper flakes, lime juice, vinegar, olive oil, and salt until smooth.
  5. Assemble Tacos: Warm corn tortillas; layer fish with slaw and drizzle with Avocado Crema before serving.
