  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add mushrooms; cook until tender (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in flour; cook for one minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth.
  6. Add heavy cream, sour cream, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Combine shredded chicken and cooked pasta with the sauce; stir well.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  9. Top with mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs.
  10. Bake for about 20–25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
