  • 1 lb wild-caught shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups finely shredded green cabbage
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • Juice and zest of 2 limes
  • 8 tortillas (corn or flour)
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Avocado slices (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, marinate the shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, olive oil, lime zest and juice, and honey. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  3. In another bowl, combine shredded cabbage with Greek yogurt, lime juice, honey, and chopped cilantro; mix well.
  4. Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave until soft.
  5. Assemble tacos by adding cooked shrimp to each tortilla followed by creamy slaw and avocado slices.
