  • 1 tablespoon softened butter
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning (plus extra for topping)
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Cooking spray (or oil for greasing)
  • 8 refrigerated biscuits (16-ounce package)
  • ¼ cup pasta sauce (or pizza sauce)
  • 3 ounces chopped pepperoni
  • 78 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  3. Place each biscuit in the muffin cups and press down gently to mold them.
  4. Prick the sides and bottom of each biscuit with a fork; brush with the butter mixture.
  5. Add about ½ teaspoon of sauce into each cup, followed by a heaping tablespoon of mozzarella and a half tablespoon of pepperoni. Repeat for extra layers.
  6. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  7. Bake for 20-23 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
