Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 0.5 cups Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans (lightly toasted)
  • 0.5 cups Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Flavoring
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and granulated sugar. Add softened butter, mix until crumbly, then press into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes until golden.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, salt, and eggs until smooth. Stir in toasted pecans and vanilla.
  4. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust and spread evenly. Return to the oven for an additional 25–30 minutes until set.
