- 0.5 cups Granulated Sugar
- 0.5 cups Unsalted Butter (softened)
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans (lightly toasted)
- 0.5 cups Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Flavoring
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and granulated sugar. Add softened butter, mix until crumbly, then press into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes until golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, salt, and eggs until smooth. Stir in toasted pecans and vanilla.
- Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust and spread evenly. Return to the oven for an additional 25–30 minutes until set.
- Allow cooling before lifting out and cutting into bars.
