- 32 ounces strawberries, halved
- 22–24 ounces blueberries
- 1 cup frozen whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy in a stand mixer. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in buttermilk, vanilla extract, and food coloring.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Pour into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool the cakes completely before cutting into cubes or shapes.
- Prepare the pudding by whisking together pudding mix with cold milk; chill for five minutes.
