Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb halal-certified smoked sausage (turkey or beef), sliced
  • 4 cups baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet halal-certified ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)
  • Optional: sour cream and fresh parsley for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut the baby potatoes into halves or quarters. Slice the smoked sausage into ¼-inch rounds.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil with half of the ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Toss the potatoes until well coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the sheet and scatter the sausage slices over them. Sprinkle with remaining seasoning.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and tender.
  6. In the last few minutes of baking, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and return to oven until melted.
  7. Serve hot with optional sour cream and chopped parsley.
