  • 4 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese (softened)

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter flavoring
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch sauce
  • 1/4 cup cream soda
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 8 oz. tub cool whip

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press mixture into the bottom of an 8-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate sugar, then add eggs one at a time until blended.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract, butter flavoring, butterscotch sauce, cream soda, and butterscotch chips until fully combined.
  6. Pour filling over crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for about 60 minutes or until edges are set.
  7. Cool cheesecake gradually in the oven with the door ajar for about an hour before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
