- 2 onions
- 1/3 cup salt
- 2 cups cider vinegar

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cornflour (cornstarch)

- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder
Instructions
- Wash the cauliflower and cut it into small florets. Peel and thinly slice the onions.
- In a large pot, combine the salt, cider vinegar, whole cloves, brown sugar, cornflour, turmeric, mustard powder, curry powder, and cayenne powder. Bring to a boil while stirring occasionally.
- Add the cauliflower florets and sliced onions to the boiling brine and cook for about 12 minutes until tender but still crisp.
