  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, alternating with sour cream until fully combined.
  4. Layer half of the batter in the prepared pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the swirl mixture.
  5. Use a knife to swirl through the batter gently before placing it in the oven.
  6. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cooling for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
