Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • ¼ cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • For the glaze: ½ cup powdered sugar, 1-2 tsp milk, ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter to create crumb topping; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream room temperature butter with sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; gradually incorporate into wet mixture until just combined.
