  • 4 ⅚ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos (plus more for topping)
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter (for filling)
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream (or milk for a runnier frosting)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until bubbly.
  2. Mix in flour, crushed Oreos, salt, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and warm milk until combined.
  3. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. Prepare the filling by combining softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and crushed Oreos.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly over it.
  6. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. For frosting, beat together butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth.
  10. Frost warm rolls and top with additional crushed Oreos before serving.
