Ingredients
- 2 packs frozen udon noodles
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 1.5 tbsp gochujang
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp gochugaru
- Green onion and parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook udon noodles according to package instructions. Reserve 0.5 cup noodle water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, then sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.
- Stir in gochujang, followed by heavy cream and reserved noodle water. Add soy sauce and gochugaru, mixing well.
- Simmer until thickened, then toss cooked noodles into the skillet until coated with the sauce.
