  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely diced)
  • 120ml vegetable stock
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat each salmon fillet with this mixture.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Cook the fillets for about 3 minutes on one side until golden, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan and baste the fillets until nearly cooked through.
  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add vegetable stock and remaining butter. Whisk until smooth; stir in parsley.
  5. Return salmon to the pan to soak up the sauce before serving with lemon wedges.
