Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak (or steak tips), cut into bite-sized pieces

- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and cook garlic until fragrant. Stir in flour to create a roux and gradually whisk in milk and beef broth. Add cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and paprika until melted.
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions but slightly undercook them. Drain and toss with olive oil.
- Grease a baking dish and combine tortellini, steak, and cheese sauce. Top with mozzarella.
