  • 1 lb Ground lamb
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Dried oregano
  • 2 tsp Dried thyme
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Onion powder
  • Sea salt and Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, finely chop the onion and garlic until they form a paste.
  3. In a stand mixer or large bowl, combine ground lamb, beef, onion-garlic mixture, and spices. Mix on medium speed for about 10 minutes until sticky.
  4. Shape into oval meatballs using an ice cream scoop or hands and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Allow resting for 10 minutes before slicing thinly. Serve warm with your choice of accompaniments.
