  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, chai spice blend, and salt; pulse to mix.
  3. Add cold butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream and eggs; gradually add to dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface, shape into a disc, cover in plastic wrap, and chill for 30 minutes.
  6. Roll out dough to 1 inch thick; cut into wedges or desired shapes.
  7. Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, heavy cream, maple syrup, and pinch of salt until smooth.
