Ingredients
- 1 lb frozen gyoza dumplings (vegan)
- 1 lb heirloom tomatoes (mixed colors)
- 1 English cucumber
- 5 scallions
- 1/2 cup basil leaves
- 3 Tbsp Tamari (low sodium)
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2–3 tsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Steam the dumplings according to package instructions. Toss with sesame oil in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together Tamari, balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup. Pour over the dumplings and toss gently.
- Chop the heirloom tomatoes, slice the cucumber and scallions, and add them to the dumpling bowl.
- Tear basil leaves over the top and sprinkle with sesame seeds or crispy onions before serving at room temperature.
