- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup neutral-flavored oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 cup vanilla protein powder (optional)
- 2 tablespoons milk or water (as needed)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (170°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, vanilla protein powder, sugar, and baking powder; whisk until well blended.
- In another bowl, mix applesauce, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form dough; refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the dough between parchment paper and cut into rectangles.
- Fill half of the rectangles with strawberry jam; seal with another rectangle on top.
