Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (6 oz each) salmon, drained and flaked
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ teaspoon honey (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, onion, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties (about 2–3 inches in diameter).
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. For the sauce: Whisk together Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise), lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, honey (if using), Dijon mustard, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Serve the salmon patties drizzled with creamy sauce or on the side.
