Ingredients
- 2 packs udon noodles
- 200 g fresh beef, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 white onion, sliced
- Chinese cabbage (or leafy greens of choice)
- Soy sauce
- Dark soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Fresh ground black pepper
- Sesame oil
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, and cornstarch slurry for 10 minutes.
- Cook udon noodles in boiling water for 1-2 minutes until slightly firm; drain and set aside.
- Mix remaining marinade with dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, water, and potato starch for the black pepper sauce.
- Stir-fry garlic and onions in a hot wok until soft; add marinated beef and cook until browned.
- Pour in the black pepper sauce and simmer until thickened. Toss in cooked udon noodles and Chinese cabbage until well combined.
