  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 green onions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Slice flank steak against the grain into thin strips. Prepare shrimp if needed.
  2. In a bowl, mix steak with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and cornstarch; marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear marinated steak until browned (2-3 minutes), remove, then cook shrimp until pink (2-3 minutes).
  5. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return steak and shrimp to the pan, add remaining soy sauce, salt, and pepper; stir until heated through.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
