  • Shelled edamame
  • Carrot ribbons

Instructions

  2. For the teriyaki sauce, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth.

  4. Cook marinated chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Slice into strips.
  5. Assemble bowls with cooked sushi rice as the base. Top with sliced chicken and fresh toppings like pineapple, edamame, cucumber, carrots, pickled onions, and green onion slices. Drizzle with additional teriyaki sauce if desired.
