  • 1 tbsp All-Purpose Flour (for pecan pie topping)
  • 1/4 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 Large Egg (slightly whisked)
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter (for pecan pie topping)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (for pecan pie topping)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 tbsp Sea Salt Flakes (sprinkled on before baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and prepare an 8-inch square baking pan with flour-based spray.
  2. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and espresso powder in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Spread brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  5. Prepare pecan pie filling by heating sugars, corn syrup, egg, and butter in a saucepan until combined. Stir in chopped pecans.
