Instructions

  3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time followed by vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients alternately with sour cream until just combined.
  5. Fold in chopped apples and optional nuts.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan, smooth the top, and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
